MTA appoints Rome director

Mosta, 26/04/07 – Simon Camilleri Kamsky has been appointed director of the soon-to-open Malta Tourism Authority office in Rome.

Until his appointment as the MTA’s ‘man’ in the Eternal City, Camilleri Kamsky managed Venezia Lines – the catamaran operator owned by Virtu Ferries – in Venice.

The MTA had offices in Milan, but these were closed during the authority’s restructuring in 2005. The incumbent board, meanwhile, is reversing many of the decisions taken during the restructuring of the authority, including the reopening of an office in Italy. However, this time around, it will be located in Rome.
